Anamorphose / Piano Shop

In Nantes, Anamorphose sells and tunes pianos. More than a shop: a place of listening, adjustment, transmission. Somewhere people take the time to choose an instrument the way they'd choose a companion.

My images focused on what isn't visible at first glance: the tuners' concentration, the precision of their gestures, the soft light falling on the keyboards. The goal wasn't to sell, but to bear witness to a craft that has to be earned.

Tuning a piano is a rare act of precision. It calls for an ear, a hand, and a sense of time we no longer measure. I wanted the images to convey that mastered slowness, that focused silence that precedes the right note.

The photographs now serve Anamorphose's communication, on its website, social media and printed materials. A series built to last, in an editorial spirit consistent with the soul of the place.
